Power in Numbers Will Save Us All

Above are the first three installations of the Lorien Legacies series. I have been rooting on to the books ever since I have read the first one, I Am Number Four. Actually, I'm the book type of girl, not the movie-ish. But because Alex Pettyfer and Diana Agron are both stunningly gorgeous, I believe my former statement is debatable.

Now, I would like to rant on the usage of numbers on the books. There are nine (and later on, it was discovered that there are ten sorry for spoiling) of them, who are called as Gardes, from Lorien. They are given powers, called Legacies, for them to use to save their home planet which is under hibernation for the reason that it was abducted by the Mogadorians, aliens from their rival planet. Now, the Gardes are supposed to be trained by their Cepans for them to be prepared to fight the Mogadorian leader, Setrakus Ra.

Also, they will be killed in order. Like Number One was killed in Malaysia, Number Two in England, and Number Three in Kenya. John Smith is next seeing as he is Number Four. They must not be killed in any other order because of a charm. The Mogs will hurt themselves otherwise.

You see, in Math you can never interchange one thing for another. In a simpler example, if you interchange five and six, you're dead. And in a somehow more complex situation, you cannot find the circumference of a circle if you use the formula for finding the surface area.

Power in numbers will save us all.

You have to love his smug (not to mention, flawless) face!
